NCOE Jr. High Basketball
Yesterday Mrs. Baumgart took her 8th-grade Student Council members to the Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana's JobSpark Event. This is a hands-on career expo for 8th graders that is designed to “spark” an interest and get students excited for their future and a possible career. There was over 60 business and 120 hands-on activities in which the students could participate. It was a great opportunity for them!

We want to give a huge thank you to the PTO for purchasing NCOE shirts for all staff and students. They were worn for Spirit Day yesterday as we kicked off Red Ribbon Week at the Grade School and at the Pre-K!
Mrs. Cushman's JH Science classes did some experiments on Friday. They were able to mix vinegar, dish soap, baking soda ,and food coloring inside a pumpkin to see what kind of reaction would occur. They also used a microscope to see inside a sliver of a pumpkin seed, as well as the pumpkin “guts”.
Shout-out to Mrs. Humphrey, the cast, and crew of ‘A Witchy Sort of Wedding’ You all did a phenomenal job!
Every student at the Grade School had the chance to practice a bus evacuation today. Of course this is something we hope they never have to do, but we want our students to be as prepared as possible!
