HS softball at Eldorado tomorrow (4/30) is cancelled.

Congratulations to this group of guys that represented NCOE yesterday in the 2025 River to River relay race. It was a grueling 80 mile running adventure through the hills of southern Illinois. "NCOE Runners" finished Edit: 74th out of 192 teams. #cardinalstrong.

We would like to thank the Southern Illinois Resource & Advocacy Center in Harrisburg for the generous donations of after school snacks for students! They donated 2 pallets worth snacks that every student at the high school will benefit from. This picture is just a small sample size of the items that they donated to NCOE. Thanks to Mrs. Weaver, Mrs. Dagley, Mrs. Pruitt, and Mr. Flechs for organizing all of this!

This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next student we would like to nominate is Gabby Prater. One of Gabby's teachers pointed out the vast improvement she has made from last year in both her attendance and her behavior. Keep up the good work, Gabby!

The NCOE StuCo is sponsoring a spring semi-formal dance this Saturday 4/26 in the NCOE High School gym from 6:30 until 9:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:15 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door and will be $10. Students who are planning to attend and bring an out of town guest need to make sure they get a form from the main office. Out of town guests who show up and have not been approved will not be allowed to stay for the dance. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Heaven's Kitchen in Harrisburg.

The baseball team will have a make-up game tomorrow (April 23) against Galatia at 4:30 at home.

Attention:

The baseball game scheduled for today has been canceled due to poor field conditions. The softball game is still on. Thank you.

The next student we would like to recognize is Emerson Dillinger. She is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Savage's class. Mrs. Savage said that she consistently goes above and beyond to help her classmates, often putting their needs above her own. She is always polite, respectful and kind to everyone she encounters. Her positive attitude and extra effort is not only appreciated but enhances the classroom environment! Way to go, Emerson!

This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next students we would like to recognize are Everly Sturgal and Vivianne Dorris. Ms. Ashley said that these two young ladies picked up some trash in the playground on their own, without being asked. She was impressed that they took the initiative and wanted to help out! Way to go girls!

Congratulations to Landon Garrison for his third place finish and Braylon Phillips for his first place finish in Chemistry at ACES State!

March Students of the Month are Sarah Ellison, Izzy Dolden, Greyson Goebel, & River Chaney. Congratulations!
