This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude. The next student we would like to recognize is Sylas Halfacre. Sylas is a 4th grader is Mrs. Lewis's class. The 4th graders went on a field trip today, and Mrs. Lewis asked that Sylas be recognized for his extreme generosity. She said that a couple of students did not bring a drink or sandwich. Sylas had brought extra and volunteered to share his with those who did not have any. Thank you for being kind, Sylas!

Get ready to dink, smash, and serve up some fun! The Senior Class Pickleball Tournament is tomorrow. Sign in and warm ups starts at 9 am, play starts at 10 am. Deep South food truck will be here and set up to serve at 10 am. Anyone coming should bring a lawn chair as we don't have bleachers on the pickleball courts. Big shout out to our major sponsors HSC Pavement Maintenance and Slay's Restoration for helping make this possible. For more information see the pickleball event posted on the school's facebook page.

We would like to thank the Southern Illinois Resource & Advocacy Center in Harrisburg for the generous donations of after school snacks for students! They donated 2 pallets worth snacks that every student at the high school will benefit from. This picture is just a small sample size of the items that they donated to NCOE. Thanks to Mrs. Weaver, Mrs. Dagley, Mrs. Pruitt, and Mr. Flechs for organizing all of this!
