Volleyball Regionals, hosted by NCOE, begins this week. Tickets will be $6.00 for all. No discount tickets or passes allowed for post season. NCOE will play their first game on Wednesday at 6 pm.

The next student we would like to recognize is Cayden Pearce. Cayden is a 2nd grader in Mrs. Eisenhauers class. She said that he noticed a classmate who was struggling with confidence so he went over and said, “You’re doing a good job!” and gave a pat on the back. Cayden is a good classmate and that makes him a super student!

Mrs. Hall's and Mrs. Eisenhauer's 2nd grade classes have been learning about different ecological systems. Yesterday they each assembled their shoebox biomes. They all did a great job!

The next student we would like to recognize is Hunter Travelstead. Hunter is a 5th grader in Mrs Douglass's class. Mrs. Bosler said that Hunter worked so hard in speech yesterday and offered to clean up the game afterwards. She and Mrs. Douglass both bragged about how polite and kind he was! Way to go, Hunter!

The next student we would like to recognize is Logan Woolston. Logan is a 4th grader in Mrs. Lewis's class. Mrs. Lewis watched Logan help another student carry his instrument down the hall. The student had his hands full and was having a hard time, and Logan did the right thing and helped him out. Thank you for your kindness, Logan!

We had a surprise guest at the Grade School today! The Great Pumpkin showed up and surprised one of our 1st graders, Remi Travelstead, with a certificate for his great work today!

The next students we would like to recognize are Everly Sturgal (L) and Hallee Schwartz (R). Both are 2nd graders in Mrs. Hall's class. Our PE teacher, Mrs. Healy, said that these two young ladies picked up the playground today even though they were not playing with any of the equipment. She says that they are always very nice and positive in her class. We are proud of you ladies!

The next student we would like to recognize is Payton Holloman. Payton is a 4th grader in Mrs. Schwartz's class. Mrs. Schwartz said that Payton helped her straighten up all the picture books in her classroom. She truly appreciated her helping hands! Way to go, Payton!
Mrs. Naas's and Mr. Mason's 7th grade Reading classes just completed the book The Outsiders. Their culminating activity over the novel is “Outsiders Day,” where they eat chocolate cake (The Curtis brothers’ favorite breakfast) and dress like Greasers and Socs.
Our students had a blast at the @DeltaDentalIL Land of Smiles show! Captain Super Grin and friends taught them about the importance of brushing, flossing, and visiting the dentist regularly. Help us continue their oral health journey at home!

Our next Super Students we would like to recognize are Conner Payne (L) and Max Ozment (R). These two young men acted like gentlemen at the park a few days ago, helping out a young lady as she was playing on the playground. The girls' mother reached out and expressed her gratitude for how kind these boys were! Way to go, fellas! We appreciate your kindness!
For the volleyball game at Woodlawn next week fans can get in free by bringing in a canned food item.
