This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next student we would like to recognize is Landrie Carter. Landrie is a 1st grader in Mrs. Long's class. Last week in PE, Landrie noticed that another student was looking for a jump rope to use. Landrie gave up the one she was using so that the student would have one, leaving her without one. We appreciate when students put others above themselves to show kindness! Great job, Landrie!

Mrs. Humphrey was the lucky winner of the Art Club's Christmas decorations! The Art Club snuck into her classroom after school and did a great job of decorating without her knowing.

Congratulations to our Employees of the Month for November, Mrs. Samantha Brinkley and Mrs. Alexa Hortin! We are thankful for you both and all you do for our kids and our district!

The NCOE High School Student Council members volunteered today at the Gobbler Gathering hosted by Evansville Rescue Mission. The students helped distribute over 140,000 pounds of food to approximately 2,000 families in need! It was a great day!

Sophomore Class is selling raffle tickets for your chance to win Dollywood tickets. $20 a ticket. See your favorite sophomore for more information.

Congratulations to Hinsley Everett on her signing to play volleyball at the University of Evansville!

Kathy Murphy, a Child Passenger Safety Instructor, visited Mrs Lane’s Child Development class and educated the students on proper use of car seats and seat belts. She covered information on car seats for children and reinforced the need for every passenger in a vehicle to be properly secured. We want to thank Mrs Murphy for bringing such relevant information into the classroom!

This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next students we would like to recognize are Emma Drone (middle), Bella Healy (left), and Paisley Healy (right). One of our custodians, Mr. Conner, said that these three young ladies helped him clean up the trash in the bleachers after both home basketball games this week. He said it was a huge help to him, and truly appreciated it! Great job ladies!

This year at NCOE Grade School we are recognizing our Super Students, those who go above and beyond with kindness, respect, hard work, and a great attitude.
The next student we would like to recognize is Randy Grimes. Randy is a 5th grader in Mrs. Karns's class. Mrs. Karns said that Randy has come a long way in his behavior. He is helpful and kind to all students. He is the first to clean up the room and hallway. He is always willing to help others in class, even without being asked to do so. He wasn't doing as well in the first quarter, but has turned it around both in and out of the classroom! Way to go, Randy!

The Kindness Club celebrated World Kindness Day yesterday by sharing the meaning of kindness with each grade school class. After the club members taught and asked questions about kindness, the kids were left with smiles on their faces, a refreshed outlook on kindness, and the importance of helping others.
