Mrs. Hoskins' 1st graders conducted a pumpkin investigation yesterday. They learned about the parts and life cycle of a pumpkin, if a pumpkin will sink/float, pumpkin measurements and textures, and foods that can be made from pumpkins. They learned a lot and had a great time!

Congrats to 7th grader, Hadley Douglass, on breaking the school record in the mile today! The previous record of 6:02 has stood since the late 90's. Hadley ran it in 5:45 today! Congratulations Hadley!

The NCOE Student Council would like to remind everyone that we are taking donations of high-protein foods until November 1st. All items will be donated to local veterans! Items may be placed in the food pantry box at the high school or at various businesses in Norris City.


The volleyball game tonight (10/10) at Gallatin County will be varsity only.

***Volleyball Update*** The match for tonight Oct. 10th will only have a varsity match. The jv match for tonight has been cancelled. The varsity will play at 6:00.

Don't forget picture day at the high school tomorrow. Bring your uniforms.
