We would like to address concerns pertaining to a potential “threat” to the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield School District. The NCOE school district, the White County Sheriff's department, as well as the Norris City Police department were given a tip of a potential threat to the school district. This is a situation that is currently under investigation in which law enforcement as well as the school district are confident that the environment at the school is safe for all students and staff. If there is ever a situation in which both law enforcement and school officials believe the environment is not safe, this would be immediately communicated to everyone.
Sincerely,
Dustin Dale, Norris City Police Department
Matthew J. Vollman, NCOE Superintendent

Spoon Champs! Each week our cooks are looking for a different character trait from our students while they are having lunch. Students are unaware of what character trait they are monitoring until the end of the week so we are seeing improvements all around. Last week's secret character trait was manners, and the silver spoon went to the third grade class. Congrats to our THIRD GRADERS!

Don't forget your tickets for the Fall Dinner Theater!
