It's Student Council election time at the Junior High! Mrs. Baumgart was hanging posters the students had made to win the votes of their classmates! They all got to show off their artistic abilities and creativity!

Congrats to the 4th graders! The won the first round of our Cooking up Winners competition at lunch! The classes can win a letter a day if they are the best behaved and if they do a great job cleaning up after themselves in the cafeteria! They enjoyed popsicles as their reward!
On Friday, Mrs. Long’s first graders read “The Day the Crayons Quit” and drew pictures to represent what stood out to them in the story. They took them to Mrs. Naas's sixth grade English class to present their pictures and tell them about the story. They did such a great job!

NCOE PTO Candle Orders due in soon....
The senior class is doing a basket raffle at the NCOE Volleyball Invite on September 6th and 7th. If there are any senior parent/guardians that would like to help raise money for the senior class you can donate a raffle basket or volunteer to sell tickets during the tournament. Please contact Ms. Auten at the high school if you would like to help.
NCOE staff and students had a fire drill today and everyone did great! Thank you also to the amazing Norris City Fire Department! They stuck around afterwards for a few minutes to show their new truck to our Kindergartners!
Mrs. Savage's 3rd graders got to check out a book from the library yesterday for the first time! They were excited to see all that our school library has to offer! We are thankful for all the work Ms. Jana had put in to make the library a great resource for our students!
