October 6, 2022 We would like to address concerns pertaining to a potential “threat” to the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield School District. The NCOE school district, the White County Sheriff's department, as well as the Norris City Police department were given a tip of a potential threat to the school district. This is a situation that is currently under investigation in which law enforcement as well as the school district are confident that the environment at the school is safe for all students and staff. If there is ever a situation in which both law enforcement and school officials believe the environment is not safe, this would be immediately communicated to everyone. Sincerely, Dustin Dale, Norris City Police Department Matthew J. Vollman, NCOE Superintendent
